is an ancient healing modality that has been around for thousands of years, beginning with the indigenous people of Northern Australia as well as those who were a part of the Egyptian empire.

Working with sound, specifically crystal singing bowls tuned to a 432hz frequency, is a way of penetrating deeply into the physiology. not only do we hear sound with our ears, we actually feel it down to the smallest atoms in our body.

The purpose of sound healing is to restore the correct vibratory resonance to the part of the body that is vibrating out of harmony causing dis-ease.

sound therapy

Healing through sound is a proven method and works through processes called entrainment and resonance. think response and synchronization!

Scientists have verified there is a tendency in the universe towards harmony; a naturally occurring phenomenon known as entrainment.

The basic principle of sound healing is to synchronize the vibratory sound waves with the experiencer.

Sound pierces right to the core of the issue that is causing discord in our life and alleviates the madness taking place on a cellular level.

During a healing session, the body will enter a deeply relaxed state known as “theta” state. once this happens, the body’s innate ability to self-heal is activated. the body wants to be in harmony.

The cells recognize the harmonic vibrations emitted from the crystal bowls and then, through entrainment, realign themselves to their original, healthy, harmonious structure.

Chinese medicine understands human beings as having no separation between body, mind, and spirit. They are perceived as a whole, and empowered by the energy of life force, Qi.

Qi circulates in the body through pathways, channels, or meridians, each of which has an internal branch to the organs, and connects to external points or locations on the surface of the body. There are two aspects to keeping Qi balanced - keeping it full and keeping it moving smoothly. Qi is kept full by nurturing.

Nurturing is accomplished by the “Yin” aspect while the “Yang” aspect is responsible for the movement, transformation part of Qi. Yin deficient symptoms in general include lack of inner calm, night sweats, disturbed sleep, and agitation.

ear acupuncture

Acupuncture helps to restore patients’ inner calm and control. The lungs, liver, and kidneys are considered Yin organs. They are also major organs involved in the elimination of toxins from the body.

Yin is consumed without introspection,

nurturing, and spiritual/life values. The mind, body, and spirit are depleted by this way of life and Qi is out of balance.

Acupuncture needles placed in points

corresponding to the Yin organs opens

up the flow of Qi and allows nurturing of these organs, thus reestablishing a balance.

Five thin, sterile, single-use needles are inserted in each ear, just under the skin at specific points. Needles remain in the ear for approximately 30 minutes. Inserting the extremely fine needles in the ear causes minimal discomfort. Treatment time should be used to sit quietly, relax and reflect or meditate.

Acupuncture is most effective with a series of treatments over a period of time.

An adventurous spirit, curiosity like a cat, an inquisitive mind, and a sensitive soul comprise the elements of my essence. Visualize that superfecta, combined with a burning desire to live a meaningful life of service and that’s how we arrived here.

Before all of the butterflies and rainbows, I often resided in a place of dimness where I felt disconnected, upside-down, and misaligned. Eventually, I grew weary of this disenchanted way of being and I embarked upon my path to inner luminosity.

One fine day, along my spiral into the abyss, a divine encounter left me feeling utterly enamored. A pivotal point indeed, it was then, that I received my first sound bath.

To my surprise, when I descended into stillness and solitude, I was effortlessly propelled into a foreign place, the present moment, where I felt connected and plugged into something greater. I sensed being suspended in space, weightless as if an elephant stepped off of my chest.

It was electrifying. A light bulb turned on and it was frequency in the form of harmonic sound that flipped the switch.

From that moment, the obsession was real. I researched, read books, and took a course on sound healing. I was determined to unveil the most mysterious phenomenon in our universe, vibration. Science and spirit danced together in sync right before my eyes. Sweet synchronization.

Over time, the hand of destiny guided me into the right place, aligned, where I now share this practice with others. I created Sun and Moon Sound to celebrate the light as well as the dark that resides in us all. I am forever learning but I do enjoy sharing my treasure chest of tangible embodiment techniques along the way.

thank you for being here.
